Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an opportunity for a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who is Fellowship trained and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine located in Nampa, Idaho.  

SAMG has an excellent employment or professional service agreement opportunity for an Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine (additional training in Critical Care Medicine is preferred) trained physician (MD/DO) to join a robust pulmonary practice performing outpatient pulmonary clinic duties as well as Pulmonary/Critical Care consultation duties.  This practice provides services for a full spectrum of complex pulmonary and critically ill patients at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Nampa, West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell as well as Vibra Hospital in Boise.  

The schedule for this opportunity is two out of three weeks in an outpatient pulmonary clinic performing outpatient pulmonary procedures and the final week is spent on rotation in the hospitals performing pulmonary consultations. The call for this opportunity is 1:4 low intensity night call and 1:4 weekend rounding at the hospitals.

Requirements for this opportunity include a strong Internal Medicine and Pulmonary medicine background with fellowship training.  Preference will be shown to candidates who also have training in Critical Care Medicine.  The selected candidate will have a sincere desire to practice in a high quality pulmonary clinic and consultative ICU setting co-managing the treatment of complex, critically ill inpatients in a collaborative relationship with adult hospitalist medicine services and other specialists.

The ideal candidate will join SAMG, a physician led and accountable 350+ provider multispecialty group practice, and commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care while demonstrating and modeling our organizations core values of reverence, a commitment to those who are poor, justice, stewardship and integrity.   As a member of the medical group, the selected candidate will also need to obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health Systems pulmonary and critical care medicine program across all communities we serve.

Inpatient EMR/Computerized Order Entry using Cerner PowerChart is available; therefore experience with Electronic Medical Records is preferred.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right Pulmonary Medicine physician to be part of a program within a World Class ICU.
